Artists Speak
- Interviews with the Masters of Photography
What do photographers talk about? They talk about their innermost secrets and their contact with the outside world through the uncanny medium that is photography.
The world as seen by people is three-dimensional. Photography registers a two-dimensional reality. The world is in constant movement; photography can capture the world motionless. The photographer - with his instinct, reflex, and interpretation – is responsible for selecting a single moment and imbuing it with a wider context.
Giza’s talks with major Polish photographers are most definitely not a manual. They don’t include instructions detailing good photographic practice. Instead, they narrate an adventure, a passion and the kind of love for which you sometimes have to pay a great price.
